WHAT IS A CERTIFIED TRANSCRIPT? A certified transcript is an official written record of court proceedings. These transcripts are prepared by authorized court reporters or transcriptionists and are certified to be accurate and complete. Certified transcripts can be part of the official Court record and may be used for various legal purposes.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR A CERTIFIED TRANSCRIPT?  The cost of a certified transcript varies depending on the length of the recording and your desired turnaround time. Our pricing process begins when you place a request. The court then uploads the necessary recordings to our system. We'll provide you with a cost estimate, typically based on a 14-day turnaround, unless you specify a different timeframe. You'll receive an email notification to review this estimate. If you choose to proceed, you'll need to pay a deposit to initiate the transcription. For a precise quote tailored to your specific needs, please submit your request, and we'll promptly provide a detailed estimate.

Costs of Transcription Services are as follows:
Transcripts  Original - $3.00/page
First Copy - $0.50/page
All Other Copies - $0.25/page
Appeals - $3.75/page
Standard – 14-day turnaround - $4.25/page
Expedited – 7-day turnaround - $5.00/page
Expedited – 3-day turnaround - $6.00/page
Daily – 1-day turnaround (24 hours) - $7.00/page

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?  To request a transcript of a Court proceeding, simply complete the secure online order form on this website. You'll need to provide the case number(s) and date(s) of the hearing(s). This information can be found on the Maryland Judiciary Case Search website. During your first order, you will create a user account in TheRecordXchange. Once your request is submitted, the court will review it and upload the relevant recordings. We will then update your request with an estimated cost based on our current rates and request a deposit, which can be paid online via credit card. Upon receipt of the deposit, work on your transcript will begin.

WHAT IF I DO NOT KNOW ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT MY CASE?  You can search and review information for your matter on the Queen Anne's County Circuit Court website by searching at https://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/casesearch/inquiry-index.jsp
